Baku: In the first half of 2026 (January-June), the total output value in Azerbaijan's petroleum product sector reached 2.9 billion manats, representing a 5.7% decrease compared to the corresponding period last year.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, figures released by the State Statistical Committee show that output dynamics varied considerably across individual refined product categories. Domestic motor gasoline production demonstrated positive growth, rising by 4.7% year-on-year. Conversely, contractions were recorded across other major lines: fuel oil output fell by 9.2%, kerosene production decreased by 22.5%, and petroleum bitumen experienced the sharpest decline, dropping by 47.9%.
