Azerbaijan’s PM Discusses Digital Transformation with DCO Secretary-General

Baku:Ali Asadov, Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan, met with Deemah AlYahya, Secretary-General of the Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO), on October 6.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the meeting emphasized the significance of Azerbaijan's membership in the DCO for advancing the country's digital transformation agenda and fostering international cooperation in the digital sector.

Prime Minister Asadov highlighted digital transformation as a key priority of Azerbaijan's state policy, with systematic measures being implemented under President Ilham Aliyev's leadership. These efforts include developing digital infrastructure, digitalizing public services, and enhancing artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and the innovation ecosystem.

The discussions also explored future cooperation opportunities between Azerbaijan and the DCO in areas of mutual interest, emphasizing the importance of experience exchange and joint initiatives across various sectors.
