Baku:The United Kingdom is enhancing its partnership with Azerbaijan, focusing on boosting economic growth through new trade and investment opportunities, according to British Ambassador to Azerbaijan Duncan Norman.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, Ambassador Norman shared this information on his X account, emphasizing the UK's commitment as Azerbaijan's largest foreign investor. He highlighted the recent visit by Lord Anas Sarwar, Minister of State for Trade at the UK Department for Business, Innovation, Science and Trade, and Co-Chair of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission, as a significant step in this partnership.

During the visit, Lord Sarwar and Ambassador Norman met with President Ilham Aliyev to discuss these efforts. The ambassador reiterated the UK's dedication to supporting the development of trade and investment opportunities for businesses in both countries.
