Baku: The balance of money transfers in Azerbaijan reached $680 million from January to July this year, Elrad Seydiyev, Director General of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, revealed in an interview with APA-Economics.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Seydiyev emphasized that the country's favorable external position, the current account surplus, and the rise in foreign currency revenues contribute significantly to the growth of foreign exchange reserves.
Seydiyev also mentioned that a trade balance surplus of nearly $9.5 billion was recorded over the seven-month period.
