Baku:President of Azerbaijan has extended heartfelt congratulations to President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the people of Türkiye on the occasion of Republic Day, celebrated on October 29.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the president expressed his best wishes on behalf of himself and the people of Azerbaijan, highlighting the genuine ties of friendship and brotherhood that bind Azerbaijan and Türkiye. These ties have been further strengthened by the Shusha Declaration signed in 2021, elevating the relations between the two nations to an alliance.

In his message, the Azerbaijani president wished President Erdoğan robust health, happiness, and success in his high state responsibilities, while also wishing for lasting peace and prosperity for the Republic of Türkiye and its people.
