Jeyranbatan:Absheron Eight students suffered suspected poisoning at Secondary School No. 2 in the Jeyranbatan settlement of Azerbaijan's Absheron district on Thursday.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, several students felt unwell during classes, prompting officials to immediately notify emergency medical services. The Medical Territorial Units Management Association (TABIB) reported that an emergency call was received at approximately 1550, and a medical team was dispatched to the school.

Eight students received medical assistance at the scene. The Azerbaijan Food Safety Agency (AFSA) has launched an investigation into the incident. The cause of the suspected poisoning is being investigated by the relevant authorities.
