Baku: Last month, as a result of anti-narcotics operations against the illegal circulation of drugs, 155 kilograms and 193 grams of narcotic substances, 191 pills, and 105 liters of liquid substances considered strong psychoactive drugs were detected and removed from circulation, the Press Center of the State Border Service of Azerbaijan said in a statement, APA reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, as a result of anti-smuggling measures, contraband with a total value of 16,787,836 manats was detected and seized, including 20 rounds of 9 mm pistol ammunition, pharmaceutical products, alcoholic beverages, and tobacco products.

Measures continue to ensure the reliable protection of Azerbaijan’s borders.
