Azerbaijan’s Shusha Hosts Significant Healthcare Protocol Signing Event

Shusha:In a notable development in regional healthcare cooperation, the "Protocol of Intent to Create the Trktransplant System" was signed in Shusha, Azerbaijan. This event marked a critical step in enhancing healthcare services across member states of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS). According to Trend News Agency, the signing occurred during the fourth meeting of the health ministers from OTS member states and observer nations. The Secretary General of the OTS, Kubanychbek Omuraliev, emphasized the significance of this collaboration, stating that it aims to deepen multilateral cooperation in the healthcare sector. Omuraliev expressed confidence in the initiative's success, highlighting its potential to significantly boost the healthcare capabilities within the OTS member countries. The event, co-organized by the OTS and the Azerbaijani Ministry of Health, attracted high-level participants, including OTS Secretary General, health ministers from member and observer nations, the special representativ e of the President of Azerbaijan in the Shusha district, and various global healthcare experts. Omuraliev further noted the approval of the 'Action Plan of the OTS Working Group on Healthcare Cooperation for 2025,' describing it as a major achievement toward advancing healthcare cooperation among the Turkic states. This initiative not only reflects the commitment of the OTS to strengthen healthcare but also sets a precedent for future collaborative efforts in other sectors among the member states.
