Azerbaijan’s State Budget Revenues Surpass Predictions in 2025

Baku: In the first eight months of 2025, Azerbaijan experienced positive dynamics in the execution of its state budget, as reported by the Ministry of Finance to APA. During this period, treasury authorities executed more than 972 thousand payment orders, resulting in high indicators for state budget revenue implementation.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, state budget revenues from January to August amounted to 26,359.4 million manats, surpassing the eight-month forecast by 698.7 million manats, or 2.7 percent. The revenues from the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy reached 11,561.1 million manats, which exceeded the forecast by 592.1 million manats, or 5.4 percent. Additionally, revenues from the State Property Service totaled 30.3 million manats, surpassing the forecast by 7.2 million manats, or 31.0 percent. Other revenue sources contributed 528.7 million manats, exceeding the forecast by 317.5 million manats, or 2.5 times. The transfer from the State Oil Fund was fully executed at 9,654.0 million manats, meeting 100% of the forecast.

Meanwhile, revenues from the State Customs Committee amounted to 4,160.6 million manats, achieving 98.1% of the forecast. Revenues from paid services of state-funded organizations totaled 424.7 million manats, achieving 75.6% of the forecast. State budget expenditures for the first eight months stood at 22,308.0 million manats, compared to a forecast of 23,725.9 million manats, corresponding to 94 percent of the forecast.
