Baku: Azerbaijan's strategic foreign exchange reserves have surpassed $85 billion as of January 1 this year.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the assets of the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) reached $73.5415 billion by the end of last year.

Additionally, $11.5149 billion of the strategic foreign exchange reserves were attributed to the Central Bank's reserves.
