Azerbaijan’s Strength Unquestionable, Says Azerbaijani Leader

Baku: Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has declared that Azerbaijan's strength is such that no one should consider provoking the nation. "Residents of Khojaly are attending the opening of this Memorial Complex today. Almost every one of them has lost their loved ones, family members, and relatives, and has lived with this pain and sorrow for many years," President Aliyev stated during a meeting with the Khojaly district community representatives.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev highlighted the resilience of those who suffered losses and displacement, emphasizing their faith in justice, the state, and the army as key to their endurance. He remarked that the Memorial Complex symbolizes the enduring spirit of the Azerbaijani people, who have maintained their identity and dignity despite facing decades of injustice.

President Aliyev further stated that Azerbaijan's transformation since the Khojaly genocide-deemed one of the 20th century's bloodiest crimes-has been profound. He underscored Azerbaijan's current status as a strong, self-defending state, contrasting it with its situation in 1992. He declared that Azerbaijan has achieved a comprehensive victory unmatched by any other nation in the past 80 years, asserting that the country now enjoys peace, guaranteed by its government and policies.
