Almaty: The Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ATB) represented the country at the Kazakhstan International Tourism Fair 2026 (KITF), held in Almaty, Kazakhstan. At this prominent event, Azerbaijan aimed to highlight its potential as a year-round tourism destination.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the exhibition was attended by 10 representatives of Azerbaijan's tourism industry, including Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL). Participants at the fair were briefed on the diverse opportunities available in Azerbaijan, spanning cultural, adventure and active, health, and MICE tourism sectors.

The event also included a destination presentation specifically for Kazakh tourism representatives. This presentation was followed by a business dinner, which was centered on discussions about potential cooperation between the two countries' tourism industries.
