Azerbaijan’s Trade with Turkic States Sees Notable Growth

Baku: Prime Minister Ali Asadov has reported a significant increase in Azerbaijan's trade with member states of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), noting a growth of more than 5 percent last year. Speaking at the meeting of the Heads of Government/Vice President of the Member States of OTS held in Baku, Asadov highlighted the substantial opportunities available for development in numerous sectors, including political, economic, transport, transit, energy security, digital transformation, and humanitarian cooperation among the Turkic states.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Asadov emphasized that Azerbaijan's total investments in OTS member states have reached $21 billion. He also pointed out that joint investment funds established with several partner countries are facilitating the expansion of mutual investments in priority areas, thereby strengthening economic cooperation. However, Asadov noted that the existing potential for collaboration surpasses the current figures, suggesting room for further growth and development.
