Riyadh: Azerbaijan’s 15-year-old weightlifter, Nuray Abilova, achieved a remarkable feat by securing three bronze medals at the 6th Islamic Solidarity Games held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The weightlifting competitions are a key event at the Games, capturing the attention of sports enthusiasts from across the participating nations.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Nuray Abilova claimed her first bronze in the snatch category with a lift of 65 kg. She continued her impressive performance in the clean and jerk, lifting 79 kg to earn her second bronze medal. Her cumulative effort of 144 kg across both events secured her third bronze medal, marking a significant achievement for the young athlete on the international stage.
