Baku: The first local stage of RobotChallenge, one of the world's most prestigious robotics and technology competitions, is set to take place in Azerbaijan on June 13-14, 2026, with the backing of Azercell. The event, named RobotChallenge Azerbaijan 2026, will be hosted at the Baku Crystal Hall.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, RobotChallenge was originally founded in Austria and has evolved into an international competition through its expansion in China. It serves as a global platform for young innovators to showcase their skills in robotics, programming, engineering, artificial intelligence, and innovation. By bringing the competition to Azerbaijan, the event aims to promote STEAM education, bolster the country's innovation ecosystem, and inspire the next generation of technology professionals.
The competition will feature participants from different age groups, presenting projects in the fields of robotics, programming, artificial intelligence, and innovation. Contestants will have the opportunity to demonstrate their technical expertise and creative solutions across a variety of competition categories.
Winners from this national stage will earn the chance to represent Azerbaijan at the international RobotChallenge finals in China, competing alongside talented young innovators from around the globe.
