Baku:The AWS Agentic Football Cup will take place on October 17, organized by the AWS User Group Baku with support from Azercell. This event will feature participants building AI-powered football teams to compete in virtual matches, offering them hands-on experience in artificial intelligence and cloud computing.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the tournament emphasizes practical technology learning by having each team consist of five virtual players, each controlled by an independent AI agent. These agents will analyze the game and make decision independently. Participants are tasked with developing strategies and deploying their programs on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud platform.

During the matches, virtual players will autonomously decide on actions such as positioning, passing, defending, attacking, and shooting. Participants will then have the opportunity to analyze match results, refining their programs and strategies to enhance team performance.

Individuals or teams can enter the competition, with registration available through Meetup. The tournament is designed to provide a valuable platform for students, engineers, and aspiring developers to hone practical skills and exchange knowledge and experience. Azercell's involvement underscores its commitment to advancing AI knowledge and skills, promoting the use of cloud technologies, and strengthening the technology community in Azerbaijan.
