Azerconnect Group took part in an exclusive event titled ‘The Great Innovation’ organised by the British Chamber of Commerce Azerbaijan (BCCA).
At the event, which was attended by over 100 representatives from state and private organisations, Azerconnect Group presented detailed information on their successful projects and achievements within innovation and digitisation fields.
Deputy CEO of Azerconnect Group, Dovlat Dovlatov, delivered a speech on the company’s secure operations centre, which complies with the latest international standards and practices. He also underscored their innovative payment systems in the financial services sector (FinTech), advanced targeting algorithms for delivering personalised content to consumers (AdTech), and other pioneering projects.
It was also highlighted that a strategic partnership agreement was signed this year between Azerconnect Group and the world’s leading telecommunications company, Vodafone Group. This cooperation is expected to significantly contribute to th
e development of the country’s ICT sector, bringing global expertise, innovation, and new solutions to the field.
Additionally, it was noted that the ‘Digital Silk Way’ project, which connects Europe and Asia through Azerbaijan, is currently being implemented. This initiative is anticipated to play a crucial role in the digitisation of the country and in transforming Azerbaijan into a regional digital hub.
The objective of the ‘Great Innovation’ meeting was to gather representatives from state and private organisations in the fields of innovation, digitisation, and telecommunications, along with experts in these domains, to discuss the current state and advancements in these areas.
