Azercosmos Service Exports Surpass $13 Million in First Half of 2026

Baku: In January-June of 2026, Azercosmos, the Space Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan, exported services (satellite and telecom services) worth $13.1 million to approximately 90 companies across 33 countries.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, APA reports that this represents a drop of 8 countries utilizing their services compared to the same period last year, though there was a 1.5% increase in the value of services exported.

During this reporting period, the export revenues from Azercosmos' services constituted 63% of its total revenues. This highlights the substantial role exports play in the agency's financial structure.

The nations leading in the use of Azercosmos' resources from January to June 2026 were the United Kingdom, contributing $2.2 million, followed by Luxembourg with $1.6 million. Other significant users included Turkey with $605.4 thousand, Pakistan with $603.4 thousand, and Egypt with $327.9 thousand.
