AzerGold and Uzbekistan Sign Agreement for Joint Gold Deposit Development

Tashkent: Documents between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan were signed today with the participation of Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov and Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov, who is on a business visit to the country at the invitation of the Uzbek side to participate in the 5th Tashkent International Investment Forum, the Cabinet of Ministers told APA.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, the documents envisage the joint development of a gold deposit in Uzbekistan with the participation of AzerGold CJSC. Additionally, the agreements include cooperation in the banking sector between the International Bank of Azerbaijan OJSC and the relevant institution of Uzbekistan. The collaboration also extends to the joint development of significant mineral resources in Uzbekistan with the involvement of NEQSOL Holding.
