Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli Oil Production Reaches 623 Million Tons

Baku: A total of 623 million tons of oil and 252.6 billion cubic meters of associated gas have been produced from the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli (ACG) field block located in Azerbaijan's sector of the Caspian Sea, as of May 1, 2025.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, ACG is regarded as the largest oil and gas field in Azerbaijan's sector of the Caspian Sea. The field block currently hosts seven production platforms: Chirag, Central Azeri, West Azeri, East Azeri, Deepwater Gunashli, West Chirag, and Azeri Central East (ACE).

The newest platform, ACE, was commissioned in 2024 and utilizes remotely controlled technologies. It has a daily production capacity of 100,000 barrels of oil, and total production from the ACE platform over its operational lifetime is expected to reach approximately 300 million barrels of oil.
