Baku: The price of Azerbaijan's Azeri Light crude oil (CIF) has slightly decreased on world markets. The price of one barrel of Azerbaijani oil fell by $2.54 to $80.06.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the previous price of Azerbaijani oil stood at $82.60 per barrel. The decrease comes amidst global fluctuations in oil prices, affecting Azerbaijan's revenue from oil exports.
Recall that Azerbaijan's 2026 state budget is based on an average Azeri Light oil price of $65 per barrel. This recent decline in the oil price remains above the budgetary baseline, potentially offering some economic stability despite the fluctuations in the market.
