According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the current price movement comes in the context of historical fluctuations that have seen Azeri Light reach an all-time low of $15.81 per barrel on April 21, 2020. The record high for the crude oil was $149.66 per barrel in July 2008, highlighting the volatility in the oil market over the years.
