Azeri Light Crude Oil Price Drops to $80 Per Barrel

Baku: The price of Azeri Light crude oil fell by $2.54, marking a 3.07 percent decrease, to settle at $80.06 per barrel on Friday. This recent change in price highlights the fluctuations in the global oil market, affecting both local and international economies.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the Azeri Light crude oil has experienced significant price variations in the past. The all-time low for Azeri Light was recorded at $15.81 per barrel on April 21, 2020, amidst global economic challenges. On the other hand, the all-time high was an impressive $149.66 per barrel in July 2008, showcasing the volatility in the oil sector over the years.
