BAKU: The oil market experienced a slight uptick this week, with Azerbaijani oil prices rising across several indices. The average price of Azeri Light crude oil, produced at Azerbaijan’s Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli field, climbed by $0.25, or 0.34 percent, to reach $75.67 per barrel. This increase reflects broader movements in the global oil market.

According to Trend News Agency, the maximum price for Azeri Light during the reviewed period was $76.63 per barrel, while the minimum price was $74.31 per barrel. Additionally, the Azeri Light crude oil price on a Free on Board (FOB) basis at Turkey’s Ceyhan port averaged $74.17 per barrel, marking a $0.3, or 0.4 percent, rise from the previous week. The highest price at Ceyhan was recorded at $75.16 per barrel, with the lowest at $72.78 per barrel.

Meanwhile, URALS crude oil prices saw a $0.53, or 0.85 percent, increase, reaching $62.61 per barrel. The maximum price for URALS was $63.56 per barrel, while the minimum was $61.31 per barrel. The benchmark Dated Brent c
rude oil also rose by $0.51, or 0.68 percent, to an average of $74.89 per barrel. The peak price for Dated Brent was $75.84 per barrel, with the lowest at $73.57 per barrel.
