Fariz mammadov: The seminar was organized within the framework of the Asian Development Bank's (ADB) regional technical assistance project, "Strengthening Green Skills Development," under the Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation (CAREC) Program.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, key discussions centered on the launch of the Regional Center for Green Agriculture (RCGA) online platform under CAREC and the formulation of an academic module titled "Green Inclusive Change for Sustainable Development."

The event convened representatives from premier higher education institutions across CAREC member states-including Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Pakistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan-along with international university delegates, domain experts, and ADB specialists.

The main focus of the seminar was to reinforce regional synergies in green, climate-resilient, and digital agriculture, accelerate the development of the RCGA digital portal, and draft core documentation for the new academic module.

In his address, Vice-Rector Fariz Mammadov delivered a comprehensive presentation showcasing national projects executed in Azerbaijan, as well as institutional initiatives led by AzTU in "Circular Economy and Resource Efficiency."

The seminar served as an impactful forum for partner institutions to build on existing research, teaching, and academic exchange capabilities in green skills while pinpointing new avenues for joint projects.
