Baku Engineering University and Uzbekistan’s UNICON.UZ Explore Collaborative Opportunities

Baku: The Baku Engineering University (BEU) and the Centre for Scientific, Technical and Marketing Research of the Republic of Uzbekistan (UNICON.UZ) recently participated in an online meeting to discuss potential cooperation.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the meeting included BEU faculty members and UNICON.UZ staff who exchanged views on developing scientific research, implementing technological projects, and organizing joint academic programs. BEU Vice-Rector for International Relations Atraba Gul expressed optimism about the collaboration with UNICON.UZ, believing it would establish a foundation for future mutually beneficial projects.

The discussion also touched upon the "Uzbekistan-Azerbaijan" joint international scientific competition, which is based on collaboration in scientific activities between the State Agency for Science and Higher Education under the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Agency for Innovative Development under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovations of Uzbekistan. A research group from BEU's Department of Automation, Telecommunications and Energy has been formed, and a related project has been developed.

The meeting concluded with an in-depth discussion on the project details, resulting in an agreement to strengthen scientific ties and advance future joint initiatives. The cooperation is expected to contribute significantly to experience exchange and the development of innovative, application-oriented projects.
