Baku: The process of signing electronic diplomas for students graduating with bachelor's degrees for the 2025/2026 academic year has been completed at Baku Engineering University (BEU).

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, BEU Rector Yagub Piriyev executed the signing of electronic diplomas for graduates in all specialties via the Higher and Secondary Specialized Education Subsystem. This initiative aligns with Article 27 of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On Education" and the "Descriptions of state documents on education at the bachelor's, basic (base higher) medical education, master's and residency levels of higher education and the Rules for their issuance" as approved by the Cabinet of Ministers.

The established rules dictate that the relevant state document on education is generated and issued in the form of an electronic document to individuals who have completed any stage and level of education at an educational institution, excluding doctoral studies. Graduates will be able to access their electronic diplomas through the 'my.gov.az' digital government platform.
