Baku: Students of Baku Engineering University (BEU) achieved outstanding results at the world final of the International World Innovative Student Exhibition (IWISE) international innovation competition, held in London, United Kingdom, securing first place in two categories. According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Tahira Baylarova and Ulkar Rahimli, fourth-year students majoring in Electrical and Electronics Engineering under the dual-degree program jointly implemented by BEU and INHA University, successfully competed in the competition. Tahira Baylarova secured first place in the 'Labyrinth' category, completing the task in 4.11 seconds among 18 competing teams. Ulkar Rahimli took first place in the 'Robosoccer' category, achieving the top result among 14 competing teams. Students from 25 countries participated in the world final. The participation of the Azerbaijani delegation in the IWISE competition was supported by the Ministry of Youth and Sports. The achievements of the BEU students demonstrate th eir ability to successfully combine theoretical knowledge with practical skills in engineering, robotics, and innovative technologies. Their success at an international innovation and robotics competition also reflects the university's focus on modern engineering education, innovative thinking, and the development of student projects. IWISE is an international platform where young people demonstrate their knowledge and skills in science, technology, engineering, robotics, and innovation. The competition consists of several stages, giving participants an opportunity to showcase their knowledge and skills at the international level and compete with young innovators from various countries.
