Baku Hosts 11th Forum of Azerbaijani Youth

Baku: The 11th Forum of Azerbaijani Youth, organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, commenced on February 2 in Baku. Young participants began the event by visiting the grave of National Leader Heydar Aliyev in the Alley of Honors. Farid Gayibov, Azerbaijan's Minister of Youth and Sports, delivered President Ilham Aliyev's message to the youth on the occasion of Youth Day.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the forum included a video presentation showcasing the youth policy implemented in the country. Awards were then presented to young individuals honored with Presidential Prizes. These awards were presented by Yusuf Mammadaliyev, Head of the Department of Youth Policy and Sports Issues of the Presidential Administration; Anar Aliyev, Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population; Farid Gayibov, Minister of Youth and Sports; Firudin Gurbanov, Deputy Minister of Science and Education; and Murad Huseynov, Deputy Minister of Culture.

Minister Anar Aliyev emphasized the progress in youth employment and vocational training, highlighting the Ministry's role in preparing young people for employment and developing their skills. Deputy Minister Firudin Gurbanov reflected on the legacy of National Leader Heydar Aliyev in shaping Azerbaijan's youth policy, which has been continued by President Ilham Aliyev. Deputy Minister Murad Huseynov spoke about the influence of culture on youth values.

The forum session continued with ongoing discussions. A session dedicated to the 'Year of Urban Planning and Architecture' and a workshop titled 'Youth Potential - for the Sake of National Development' are scheduled for February 3 at the Khankendi Congress Center.
