Baku Hosts “First International Credit Reporting Conference”

Baku: The “First International Credit Reporting Conference” is being held in Baku city, APA-Economics reports. The event is dedicated to the theme “From Data to Decisions: The Future of Credit Bureaus” and sees participation from the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Association of Azerbaijan Banks, the Azerbaijan Credit Bureau (AKB), as well as heads of banks, international credit bureaus, and international experts.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the conference is addressing the role of credit reporting and scoring in credit decision-making. Proposed solutions are being discussed to ensure risk management and effective governance. Current issues such as artificial intelligence, big data management, and digital transformation are also being explored.

Leaders and staff of credit bureaus from nine countries that are members of the Association of Credit Information Providers in Eurasia (ACIPE) are attending the conference. The event provides a platform for sharing practices in credit reporting, presenting innovative products and services, and discussing opportunities and challenges in the sector.
