Baku: Azerbaijan's Minister of Youth and Sports, Farid Gayibov, met with SportAccord President Ugur Erdener on September 2 to discuss the organization of international sporting events in Azerbaijan. The meeting highlighted the further development of cooperation with SportAccord and addressed various matters of mutual interest.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, particular attention was given to preparations for the upcoming SportAccord World Sport and Business Summit in Baku. Discussions included efforts to ensure the summit's successful and high-level organization along with identifying priorities and tasks ahead.

The meeting included participation from Elnur Mammadov, Head of the Ministry's Sports Department; Magsud Farzullayev, Executive Director of Baku City Circuit Operations Company; and SportAccord Managing Director Kelly Fairweather.
