President Ilham Aliyev Meets Delegation from China’s Supreme People’s Procuratorate

Baku: President Ilham Aliyev received a delegation led by the Prosecutor General of China's Supreme People's Procuratorate, highlighting Azerbaijan's ongoing diplomatic engagements. This meeting is part of Azerbaijan's broader efforts to strengthen international ties and cooperation.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the President also welcomed the newly appointed UN Resident Coordinator in Azerbaijan, indicating the nation's commitment to working closely with international organizations. In addition, a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between the State Statistical Committees of Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan has been approved, further solidifying bilateral relations with Central Asian countries.

Baku has recently hosted the 4th International Mine Action Conference, emphasizing Azerbaijan's focus on addressing the challenges of mine clearance. During the conference, the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) and the ASEAN Regional Mine Action Center (ARMAC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding, underscoring the commitment to collaborative mine action efforts. A UN representative noted that artificial intelligence could revolutionize demining efforts, marking a significant technological advancement in the field.

In other developments, Azerbaijan's Parliament Speaker has embarked on a working visit to Switzerland, while Russian President Vladimir Putin remarked that the current situation provides an opportunity to improve Armenia-Azerbaijan relations, suggesting potential progress in regional diplomacy.
