Baku State University and Beijing University of Chemical Technology Launch Dual Degree Program in Chemistry

Baku: The Baku State University (BSU) and the Beijing University of Chemical Technology (BUCT) of China have signed an agreement to introduce a dual degree program in chemistry. This initiative will enable students to obtain a bachelor's degree from both prestigious institutions, fostering cross-cultural academic exchange and collaboration.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the joint undergraduate program will adhere to international academic standards, ensuring that graduates are well-equipped for the global labor market. The program aims to produce professionals who meet contemporary industry demands, enhancing their employability and expertise in the field of chemistry.

The agreement was formalized with the signatures of BSU Rector Elchin Babayev and BUCT President Tan Tianwei. The signing ceremony was also graced by the presence of Lu Mei, the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Azerbaijan, highlighting the diplomatic significance of this academic partnership.
