Baku State University and China’s Liaodong University Establish Collaborative Partnership

Baku: The Baku State University (BSU) and China’s Liaodong University have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to foster a new academic partnership. The agreement aims to enhance cooperation between the two institutions through various academic and research initiatives.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the memorandum outlines plans for joint research, academic events, and training programs. These initiatives are designed to elevate the education quality at both universities to meet international standards. The MoU also focuses on collaboration in terms of joint publications in scientific journals and the development of academic programs, curricula, and syllabi.

Furthermore, the agreement encourages the exchange of academic and administrative staff, as well as students, graduate students, doctoral students, and researchers between the two universities. This exchange is expected to facilitate knowledge sharing and cultural understanding.

The document was officially signed by Elchin Babayev, Rector of Baku State University, and Fu Libin, Rector of China’s Liaodong University. This partnership marks a significant step in strengthening educational ties between Azerbaijan and China.
