Baku: Azerbaijan’s Baku State University (BSU) and Shymkent University of Kazakhstan have signed a memorandum of understanding to enhance cooperation, as a delegation led by Rector Nurlybek Seitkulov met with BSU Rector Elchin Babayev. Rector Elchin Babayev highlighted the importance of fostering cooperation with Turkic countries, particularly with Kazakh higher education institutions, as a priority in BSU’s international relations.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Shymkent University Rector Nurlybek Seitkulov expressed their interest in BSU’s achievements in science and education, stating that the cooperation is expected to be long-term and productive. He emphasized their particular interest in collaborating in pedagogical and humanitarian areas.
The memorandum outlines plans for implementing joint scientific projects, expanding academic exchange programs, and developing cooperation in education between the two universities.
