Tashkent: A delegation from Baku Steel Company CJSC, led by General Director Kamal Ibrahimov, participated in the 5th Tashkent International Investment Forum (TIIF-2026). The delegation conducted a series of meetings with representatives from government institutions and key industrial companies in Uzbekistan, focusing on potential collaboration in the metallurgical industry, supply chain development, and innovative technology application. These discussions centered on industrial cooperation, experience exchange, technological integration, and increasing BSC product exports to Uzbekistan. The discussions at the forum aim to broaden economic connections between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, enhance industrial collaboration, and create new investment avenues. BSC endeavors to contribute to the economic development of both nations through strategic cooperation. Kamal Ibrahimov highlighted the productive nature of the meetings, stating: 'The interactions in Tashkent allowed us to understand the Uzbek market's needs better and negotiate specific supply arrangements. We have established direct business connections and are committed to achieving practical outcomes, such as boosting supplies and reinforcing economic links.'
