Baku: Passengers on the new Baku-Tbilisi-Baku train route will experience enhanced services across three classes: 'Luxury,' 'Comfort Plus,' and 'Comfort,' as announced by Bakhtiyar Hajiyev, head of the public relations department of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC, according to APA-Economics reports. The upcoming trips will feature six carriages, including a restaurant carriage, three 'Comfort' carriages, and carriages for 'Luxury' and 'Comfort Plus' passengers, with a total capacity of 118 passengers.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, meals are not included in the ticket price, but passengers can bring their own food or purchase meals in the restaurant carriage for an additional fee. Each ticket class offers special travel packages that include hygiene products, wipes, shampoo, shower gel, and other essentials. The trains are equipped with televisions, multimedia services, and sanitary facilities, while 'Luxury' compartments provide private sanitary units and shower cabins. Additionally, a Wi-Fi system will be available for internet access during the journey.
The first train is scheduled to depart from Baku at 23:10 on May 25, arriving in Tbilisi at 08:41 the next day. In the reverse direction, the train will leave Tbilisi daily at 21:00, reaching Baku at 06:24.
