Baku: The First Forum of Postal Leaders of Europe and the CIS is set to take place in Baku from May 13 to 15, as revealed by Azerpost LLC to APA-Economics. The event is a collaborative effort organized by the Universal Postal Union (UPU), the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, and Azerpost LLC, which is part of the Azerbaijan Transport and Communications Holding (AZCON).

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the forum will have the theme ‘Next Horizons: Navigating E-Commerce, Innovation, and the Supply Chain for Future Excellence.’ It will gather over 150 representatives from more than 30 countries, including heads of national postal services, senior representatives from e-commerce and technology firms, and international experts.

The forum aims to establish a strategic platform for regional discussions, knowledge exchange, and innovation in response to global trends and digital disruptions affecting the postal sector. Discussions will address the integration of e-commerce in postal networks, digital transformation, sustainable logistics practices, and the importance of cybersecurity for trust and safety in postal operations.

By encouraging dialogue among industry leaders and stakeholders, the forum seeks to develop future-oriented strategies and innovative solutions that meet evolving customer and business needs. It will also reinforce the UPU’s dedication to fostering regional development and enhancing international postal cooperation.
