Baku: The international event titled 'International Finance and Banking Summit 2026: Global Financial Integration' is set to take place in Baku on June 9-10. The summit aims to serve as a platform to facilitate the financial integration of the region and Turkic-speaking countries into the global financial system.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the event will be organized with the support of the Council of Banking Associations of the Turkic States (CBATS), the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and the banking associations of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Trkiye. The Association of Financiers of Kazakhstan, along with other partner organizations, are also contributing to the organization of the summit.
The summit will align with global banking and finance trends projected for 2026. Its primary objectives include fostering regional cooperation by harmonizing regulations, linking payment systems, and strengthening correspondent banking ties. The event will also highlight opportunities for international partnerships.
The summit is positioned as a meeting point for collaboration, where financial leaders from regional states, global industry experts, and solution providers will gather. The aim is to develop a shared vision for a more integrated and globally connected regional financial space.
