Baku: From January 28 to 30, Baku will host events on Transport and Electronic Advanced Data for countries in the Europe and CIS regions, organized jointly by the Universal Postal Union and “Az?rpo§t” LLC, Ministry of Digital Development and Transport told APA-Economics. The events will include a postal transport seminar and training sessions on Electronic Advanced Data, focusing on innovations in Azerbaijan’s postal ecosystem.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the purpose of the events is to discuss the challenges and opportunities in modern postal systems, share knowledge on Electronic Advanced Data and transport logistics, and discuss the organization of postal work related to postal security functions by bringing together postal operators from Europe and the CIS.
During the training on Electronic Advanced Data, sessions will focus on strategic approaches to e-commerce, the use and integration of tools for customs declarations and international postal systems. Bilateral meetings will be held addressing the specific needs of postal operators from the participating countries.
Simultaneously, the regional transport seminar will cover important issues such as regional and national transport indicators, IT tools, the transition to paperless transportation, and the creation of regional transport hubs.
A key component of the seminar is a panel discussion designed to promote dialogue among postal operators, exploring solutions to challenges related to postal consolidation and the creation of regional centers.
The events aim to equip postal organizations with the necessary tools and knowledge to increase operational efficiency and promote cooperation among postal operators in the region.
