Baku: Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev has signed an order to regulate the operation of educational institutions in Baku during the 13th session of the World Urban Forum 13 (WUF13), the Ministry of Science and Education told APA. The forum is scheduled to take place from May 17-22, and adjustments are being made to the educational process in the capital.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the order mandates changes specifically for educational institutions, excluding preschool and boarding-type general education institutions. A break will be implemented for preparatory groups and primary classes, covering grades 1 to 5, in general education institutions from May 18 to 22, rescheduled from the initial plan of May 1-5.
Additionally, classes for grades 5-11 in general education institutions, except for those located in the districts of Pirallahi, Garadagh, Surakhani, Sabunchu, and Nizami, will be conducted remotely from May 18 to 22. The directive also includes vocational, secondary specialized, and higher education institutions in Baku, which will shift to remote learning during this period.
