Baku – The Joint Intergovernmental Commission between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the United Kingdom recently held its sixth online session to discuss economic cooperation. Participating in the session were co-chairs, Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov and Parliamentary Under Secretary of State to the Scotland Office, Minister of Exports at the Department of Business and Trade Malcolm Offord.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency ,the two parties deliberated on the forthcoming meeting slated for December 2023 in Baku, as well as potential bilateral energy collaboration. Both sides highlighted the importance of the upcoming sixth session in Baku, expecting it to foster mutual benefits. Additionally, they underscored the significance of finalizing the “Partnership and Cooperation Agreement” project between the two nations and broached other matters of mutual interest.
