Azerbaijan: Azerbaijan and Russia faced certain difficulties in their bilateral relations in the recent past, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said at a joint press conference with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in Moscow, APA reports. The minister said the issue was also raised during today's talks.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Bayramov expressed satisfaction that the two nations have managed to overcome the challenging phase and fully normalize the entire spectrum of Russia-Azerbaijan relations. He highlighted the significant role played by the personal involvement of the leaders of both countries, emphasizing that it was through their efforts that the full restoration of relations was achieved.
Bayramov further noted that Azerbaijan and Russia are neighboring states united by centuries-old historical, cultural, and humanitarian ties. He affirmed the strength of these relations and mentioned the close and deep connections between their peoples, which form the foundation of interstate relations.
