Beijing:China's prestigious Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU) has completed its first admission of students for the master's degree program in Azerbaijani language.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the introduction of this master's program marks a significant development, elevating Azerbaijani language education at the university from the undergraduate level to the graduate level.

The admission process for the master's program involved a written examination followed by an interview. Two third-year BFSU students, specializing in the Azerbaijani language, successfully passed both stages. These students will commence their studies in September 2027, under the scientific supervision of Agshin Aliyev, Ph.D. in philology and head of the Department of Azerbaijani language.
