Belarus Seeks Joint Production Facilities with Azerbaijan

Baku: Belarus is interested in creating joint production facilities with Azerbaijan, Dmitry Pinevich, the Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to Azerbaijan told APA. The ambassador emphasized the potential benefits of establishing joint ventures to mitigate the challenges posed by the geographical distance between the two countries.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the ambassador highlighted that the 2,800-kilometer distance between Azerbaijan and Belarus significantly impacts the pricing of exported goods. He explained that industrial cooperation through joint production facilities is seen as a solution to this issue. Pinevich stated, “This is the highest form of cooperation projects and can lead to serious changes in the economic structure. That is why joint production is very important in terms of reducing logistics costs.” The initiative aims to enhance economic ties by minimizing the logistical costs associated with the long distance separating the two nations.
