Karabakh: Everything is being rebuilt, said Patrick Vaselis, a traveler from Belgium who is visiting Karabakh together with international travelers, APA reports.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Patrick Vaselis expressed his amazement at the extensive reconstruction efforts underway in Karabakh. He mentioned that this is his sixth visit to Azerbaijan, having first traveled to the country in 1994 and most recently in 2021. He explained that his family, including his parents, spouse, and children, are frequent travelers to Azerbaijan.
The traveler shared his observations on the remarkable transformation in Karabakh since the end of the occupation, pointing out that the areas, once entirely devastated, are now witnessing significant rebuilding activities. Vaselis emphasized that the international community has always acknowledged Karabakh as part of Azerbaijan, a fact he believed would eventually lead to the current reconstruction efforts.
He expressed a strong interest in visiting Karabakh again in the future, particularly once the construction and infrastructure projects are completed, which he believes will facilitate easier travel to the region. Vaselis highlighted Shusha as the most interesting and impressive place he has visited in Karabakh.
