Brussels: The opening ceremony of a photo exhibition by Azerbaijani photographer Etibar Jafarov, titled 'The Colors of Azerbaijan - Land of Multiculturalism', took place at the esteemed Cercle Royal Gaulois, a prominent cultural venue in Brussels. Organized by the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Belgium, the exhibition highlighted Azerbaijan's rich historical and cultural heritage, showcasing its longstanding multicultural values and traditions of mutual respect and coexistence among different ethnic and religious communities.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Ambassador Vagif Sadigov emphasized the significance of multiculturalism as a core component of state policy in Azerbaijan during his speech at the event. Other notable speakers included the photographer Etibar Jafarov, Philippe Humbl©, a professor at the Free University of Brussels, and political analyst Michel Ivor. The exhibition also featured performances of classical music by Azerbaijani and international composers, played by Azerbaijani musicians based in Belgium.

The exhibition drew significant interest from visitors and was praised as a vital initiative in promoting Azerbaijan's cultural heritage and multicultural values on an international stage. The event attracted a diverse audience, including diplomats, researchers, Belgian and European Union officials, public representatives, cultural figures, and members of the Azerbaijani community.
