Baku: The Novruz festival was held at Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS). In his opening remarks, BHOS Rector Elmar Gasimov congratulated the university's students and staff on the holiday and wished them continued success and prosperity.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Elmar Gasimov emphasized that this year the Novruz and Ramadan holidays coincided in date. He noted that both holidays are being celebrated in Azerbaijan with great enthusiasm, highlighting the unity of national and religious values in society.

Festival participants visited holiday corners prepared by the staff and students, where they sampled various sweets. A holiday bonfire was lit at the event, around which students danced Yalli, performed different dances, and engaged in egg-tapping competitions.
