Bir Unites Over 1,000 Young Minds at Azerbaijan’s Premier ‘Spark ’26’ Technology Festival

Bir: Azerbaijan's first student-technology festival, 'Spark '26', organized by Bir, the Caucasus' first fully integrated digital ecosystem, successfully brought together over 1,000 young individuals. The event attracted students, master's degree students, and graduates keen on technology, data, and artificial intelligence.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the festival aimed to bridge the gap between campus and career, offering attendees specializing in tech, data, and AI a direct connection to industry experts. This interaction provided participants with a real-world insight into the sector and a clearer direction for their career paths. The festival offered a platform to explore the capabilities of the Bir ecosystem while delving into expert discussions and hands-on insights on pressing topics such as 'The application of artificial intelligence and data in a real business environment' and 'The future of technology and the impact of artificial intelligence on professions'.

The event featured dynamic keynotes and interactive Q and A sessions led by notable figures within the Bir ecosystem, including Aygun Musayeva, Maksim Evdokimov, Bugha Shen, and Fariz Latifov. In addition to the tech talks, the festival was filled with interactive activities and networking opportunities designed to encourage attendees to connect and build new relationships throughout the day.

Farid Huseynov, Head of the Bir ecosystem, expressed his vision for the project on his social media, highlighting the aspiration for "Spark" to expand annually and become a platform for young people to begin their success stories. He stated, 'Building the future isn't just about dropping new tech. It's about backing the youth who breathe life into it. That's why we launched Spark '26, our very first student tech festival. Experiencing the vibrant energy of over 1,000 young minds and witnessing their absolute hunger to learn was incredible. It proved one thing: we have a powerhouse generation ready to drive our country's tech potential forward.'

Designed by Bir, 'Spark '26' is set to evolve into an annual landmark event for Azerbaijan's tech scene. Since its launch in 2025, Bir has transformed service usage behaviors for over 5 million individual and corporate customers in Azerbaijan, integrating leading brands such as Birbank, Birmarket, Milli¶n payment terminals, and the m10 digital wallet. The ecosystem's strategic partnerships with Trendyol Azerbaijan and BakiKart further solidify its position as Azerbaijan's first and largest digital ecosystem.
