Bitcoin Surges Past $94,000 Amid Neutral Market Sentiment


Chicago: Bitcoin (BTC), the world’s oldest and most valued cryptocurrency, climbed above the $94,000 threshold early Monday, maintaining a bullish trend.



According to Azeri-Press News Agency, other major altcoins such as Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), Ripple (XRP), and Litecoin (LTC) also saw gains, as reflected in the overall Market Fear and Greed Index, which was at a neutral 51 out of 100, according to CoinMarketCap data. Notably, the Pudgy Penguins (PENGU) token emerged as the top performer, experiencing a 24-hour surge of over 29 percent. Conversely, FET recorded the biggest decline, with a nearly 9 percent drop over the same period.



The global cryptocurrency market capitalization was reported to be $2.95 trillion at the time of writing, marking a slight 24-hour increase of 0.02 percent.
